An easy to build racing drone kit, a faster and easier way to mix infant formula, and a customer loyalty app were business ideas entrepreneurs pitched during the Mont Alto LaunchBox LION Tank Competition on March 15 in the University’s General Studies Building Auditorium.
Faculty members will describe a multi-year study, which involves collecting data to examine various personal and academic characteristics to predict student persistence in their academic programs, during a Penn State Mont Alto Colloquy Series talk from 12:20 to 1:10 p.m. March 13, in the Heritage Room of The Mill Café. The talk is open to the public and free of charge.
Penn State Mont Alto is currently taking applications for its 14th annual MedCamp, which provides incoming ninth- and 10th-graders opportunities to learn about careers in health care and medical fields.
Penn State Mont Alto sent four dancers and 50 supporters to participate in THON Weekend, Feb. 15-17, in the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus. During the event, it was announced that the Penn State Mont Alto Benefiting THON organization raised $43,507.26 to fight pediatric cancer.
